    Causation does not imply its opposite. In other words, if lying causes Pinocchio's nose to grow, that DOES NOT correlate to mean that if Pinocchio's nose grew, he was lying. There is no implication as to whether or not there are other causing factors for the nose growth. Ugh, logic. Get some.
