ignore the retarded post mentioned above this post. clearly, he's an idiot for thinking such. the airing of both series were only different by a year, which meant that digimon was still in the development stage when pokemon aired. it was not plagarised. empoleon can't do shit to any digimon. koromon's bubble attack will KO that stupid flightless bird pokemon easy. digimons can destroy worlds while pokemon cannot (with the exception of some legendaries whose powers were riped of digimon). DIGIMON FTW!
