So this guy walks into the doctor's and says "Doctor, it hurts when I poke my leg like this." The doctor says "Yes, you've shattered both your kneecaps. You'll never walk again."

All the people who say that this joke is impossible because he was walking before he came into the doctors office, are wrong. He poked his knee during his appointment/conversation with the doctor. That action shattered his knee cap/s. It's legit, don't doubt it.

perhaps coincidentally, the accumulative persistent poking further damaged the legs to the point that when he poked one more time, it caused irreversible nerve damage and caused him to lose the use of his legs... still not funny

What are Antijokes? Anti Jokes (or Anti Humor) is a type of comedy in which the uses is set up to expect a typical joke setup however the joke ends with such anticlimax that it becomes funny in its own right. The lack of punchline is the punchline.
